Row row rowed my kayak 800 miles in the ocean...merrily, merrily, merrily my arms are sore and tired

Hey yall I know it's a long title and pretty much tells all...but I'll give you the details of my fun day trip to La Jolla

5:30am wake up-- ahhh wait were's the sun... that's right I'm up before it
6:30am hitting the highway to our destination San Diego
8:30am I'm here... it's pretty
9ish-- I'm lost... it's pretty. Seriously folks if you've never visited the san diego area specifically La Jolla and then where I found myself in what I call my exploratory directional phase--in Miramar-- the beautiful mountanous area is beautiful. I love that you have the beach and then 30 minutes in the other directions thes quaint cottages-- well expensively quaint cottages in the woods.
915am amy comes to pic me up -- i must add only two blocks from where i was to turn however with my affinity to get lost she wasn't taking anymore chances
945am Seals!!! fun cute little seal sleeping on rocks.. i took a few pics-- of course--then from there sand between our toes.. walking on the beach near the tide pools.. that was fun. i heard this lady eat it on this slippery part. i managed to keep my footing though there were moments.
10:30-- oh wow i'm so excited we are on our way to the kayak shops.. yeah..
11:30-- kayaking begins-- well sort of.. As Amy masterfully navigates the shoreline out into the ocean, I am struggling with my third push from the kayak man trying to fight the waves. Finally I make it and ahh the beautiful ocean is mine to row.. little did i know that 800 miles or less give or take a few I would be pretty tired.. but by far the coolest thing i've done. i heart kayaking. i think i will continue in this sport. It was really amazing navagating the waves but somewhat scary thinking that nearby sharks could think i was a bait and try to eat me... next time the caves. So our kayaking was scheduled for 2 hours but we only made it an hour. Amy paddled in like a pro and I came in when horizonatal and flipped over.. Yeah gonna have to work on that.
12:30... back to the beach and lunch.. ok from here on out it was pretty much relaxcity
The hot sun--- thank God it came out.. was cloudy and I was starting to feel like eeyore-- not sure that's spelled right.
5 hours later-- much sun was had-- 8 pages were read and a quick dip in the freezing cold water.. ah God is good. What a blessing it was to spend the day enjoying his great ocean. We are so fourtunate to be able to lounge and enjoy life as it goes by. Remember this the next time you are feeling an urge to complain.. i'll do the same.. I am so blessed. Well after the beach which was full of beautiful Brazilians -- seriously though I saw way to much skin.
6:30 dinner at Hooters.. yeah that's right we ate at Hooters for the well known hot wings.. and guess what they were good.. really good.. so good they tempted Amy out of her strict regemented diet into flavor bliss. We also tried a new dish- fried pickles with onion ring sauce.. itg was good
8:00 quick foto of a street sign with aj on it.. it was really San Jose with only the a and j highlighted
Then the infamous rollercoster at Belmont-- apparently a popular name for these cute little beachy town. No we didn't go on cuz we just ate and really that's not a pretty picture. We did indulge in a waffle cone with pecan and pralines iceam cream and chocolate.
All in all the day was great. Two very high thumbs up for the fun La Jolla day trip. Must see must come back..
oh wait i totally forgot.. the house that we parked in front of by the beach we spent hours at named (Windansea) Amy's new fav beach. well that house was adorable and the guy who lived there gave Amy some bike tips on routes and we met his cute little dogs Simon and Lily.. and we did see a blonde Kinky pete on the beach.. that was weird..
That was it.. I know you felt like you were there. Well I do my best.
Have a blessed and thankful day for our God is a great provider and wonderful God who loves us
