Hiya folks,
So here's what's been going on. Ahhh life.Haven't keep my lovely public up-2-date on mi vida lately. Here's a little catchup. Well work is going okay... I'm very thankful to have a job but it is definitely going to be interesting working there. Case in point today. There was a little accident today on the 710 and 405 and I was in the van with mi clientes.Don't worry we were all fine although my co-worker who was driving was a little shaken up. Hey ya'll please pray for her and the possible status of her job. She's worried. So that's work life. Then there's school. okay so not much there just needing to keep on task with my reading...guess what i'm doing after this blog... that's right going to sleep. Yeah school is decent so far. Church. Well this is where the encouraged portion of my title comes in. Oh though we are weary and tired. Let us not be tired of doing good. I was looking at this pic of Mike on my bulletin board and it was his memorial letter. I opened it and read from I believe one of his favorite passages.
---- Habakkuk 3:17-19
"Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor the fruit on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet i will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer's; he makes me tread on the high places."
So I read those verses over a while and thought about Mike's ministry and just who he was. I was encouraged because though there were probably moments when the harvest seemed bleak or unreachable... his demeanor was always that of a hope and rejoicing in our Lord.
And here I am struggling to see fruit in the ministries I'm involved in but what I should be doing is rejoicing always. No matter what the conditions are, I should be be joyful. So I encourage those of you to no matter what season your ministry is in.. a dry or a flourishing season... Praise God. Be joyful for you salvation and the truth. Now share it.

i think everyone wonders where the fruit is... but i'm reminded that we aren't the ones who change their hearts... Jesus is! imagine how sucky it would be if we were in charge of that!! i think we'd be in worse shape!
stay strong!! just remember of all the people you came into contact with before you finally KNEW Jesus!!
remember when GAP was meeting at Starbucks? then it was not going to continue so Mike moved it to CBC and there were 4. The last meeting there were 15. Don't give up the fruit will come if you are faithful. Those are Mike's words. His job was to be faithful to the word of God and God would do what he wanted with all the ministry! Hang in there and don't get tired of doing good. I was/am convicted by this verse for the last couple of weeks! Love you! You are a living encouragement to me!!
