Contagious Happiness

So i've been listening to npr news while driving to work in the morning-- part of my whole being conscious of this crazy world around me.. so depressing but gotta know a little bit of the evil in order to fight the enemy right... so i'm listening to this very pertinent bit of info about how happiness is contagious and how there's this study of how within social functions one's happiness can affect another's level of happiness... oh wow sounds like my soc classes.. so i listened more and they also tested if this was true with people who weren't happy... aparently crankiness spreads less...good.
i write about to say hmmm. happiness is so temporal and fleeting anyway why should we care. well we are emotionally attached to situations, other people etc. so when we are happy it's kind of nice that we can within our "social networks."-- familia, amigos, co-workers.. but the bigger question is... isn't there something better that could be contagious... yeah i think there's the best thing.. just think if astrid was joyful-- a product of the changed life because of the grace bestowed by the blood of her savior..and this joy this amazing light was brighter than any kind of fleeting happiness..then people could wonder...better yet they could want. Jesus should be the most contagious part of our lives.. Here's to daily working on having contagious attitude that reflects Christ nature and the Glory we all owe him.
