The race continues...

What a couple of beautiful days in this new year. Yesterday I ran midday around the hood and it was amazing.. I wasn't excrutiatingly tired considering the lack of movement i'd had this last month. I was just lovely. I had such a worshipful run reciting what little verses I knew to myself.. made running more enjoyable and at one point I felt as if it wasn't work.
Today I had the great privilege of running with one of my favortie chamacos.. senor Armando. We ran Redondo.. it was another wonderful day. The sun was shining gloriously on the ocean and there were these monster waves-- one almost took me out as I was running on the sand. When I met up with speedy Armando we walked a little and saw some dolphins surfing in the waves.. What a sight.. I heart the beach and I am so blessed that this is how I get to spend my morning.. what more could i ask for... so as I was running I told myself and God-- Remember this.. when I'm in a moment of suffering or pain or discouragment.. remember this day when I was graced with his creation to behold and then dwell on who my maker is.. b/c as good as this feels my goodness does my salvation feel a million times better and then dwell on that... so day of the new year and I'm having a much better and Godly perspective of what he has given me.
Praise God
