interesting story

So I told yall i would go look for this guy and see if i could talk to him. Slightly apprehensive yet open to conversation. We talked about actions and attitudes. It was interesting how he percieved my lack of helping him. B/c I said no and didn't want to he percieved me to be uncharacteristic -- he saw an innocent looking young lady answering the door thinking oh b/c she looks nice and pleasant she'll help regardless.. hmm sorry to disappoint...his parting attitude left a dryness to my skin. I was able to assess that he was really wanting the help.. interesting sorry although his motivation to do good was only to have good...so we talked about the way God views works and what our hearts should really be motivated towards... I don't think we should judge others because they can't and or won't help. The desire in their hearts may be due to their circumstances so I gained some interesting insight from Jeff who is working towards a degree in electrical engineering and psychology... we'll pray for the latter to have little influence on his soul.. though they speech suggest he's privvy to believing the pysch books. Ah the falsehood of men's knowledge. I will remember Jeff and continue to pray that his educational aspriations come to fruition but more importantly I will pray for his soul. He says he has a faith and that because of the good things he does-- he will be bless.. we know this is not cemented. But we do know that Romans 8:28-30 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he forknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers 30 and those whom he predestined he also called and those whom he called he also justified, and those who he justified he also glorified. ....what is key is that we love God above all...
grounding experience for me... i hope he does come back so that I can talk to him more and show him a book far more amazing than the books he trying to buy... the indestructible, unfathomable, lovingly merciful word of our Lord.
