The Vegetarian in me...uh maybe

Recently i've felt the need to actually own up to what i say, so I'm dedicating myself to a fitter astrid though it is trudging along slowly. I don't really like pounding the pavement because my knee hurts like a mother afterwards but I do it b/c i'm slightly masochistic and my bike is in need of repair. Meanwhile I also realize that my discipline in exercise and fittness is far more consistent that my actual dietary discipline...so I was thinking of eating less meat. For the months of december and january i'm sticking to only eating chicken and fish and absolutely no fast food. So far.. i'm doing well.. but wait there's more.. I was gonna go cold turkey-- or rather cold tofurkey starting jan and just do the vegetarian thing but i have the lovely o'roark/martinez wedding to attend and knowing them and the local-- i was not gonna give up the goodness of santa maria tri-tip.. so yeah that's my little cheat day.. other than that chicken and then in february no meat for 28 days and if i'm digging it we'll go month to month.. thus far i'm actually more energetic than i've been in a while due to the slight changes.. of course i will also be trying to finally cut the dairy out...this really brings me tears but is just good all around... so those of yall reading and vegetarians or eat consciously-- i welcome fun flavorful recipes...
to my favorite meat eating buddy Grace-- i will miss the times we have cherished the cow and all its good juciness... but you eat on little one for the both of us :-)
pray that i stick to this and not get sick..i will be do alot of food research-- which is probably a good habit to get into for a fitter life anyways.. so maybe soon i'll be cooking yall some great healty meals... any takers... come on

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm coming home and I won't get to savor the cow with you! I'm devestated. But I suppose it's for a good cause. I'm bringing an english vegetarian home with me, and he's nice, so I suppose you still have hope for normality. I'll miss the cow times though. Love you!
