Oh the Covetor that I am

So another day full of God's wisdom. Still in Hebrews and moving along to verse 5 which states " Let your way of life bt free from the love of money being content with what you have." So this always hard to swallow thinking we are better but the things we crave show otherwise. So I really hate money. I hate that we have to depend on it for necessities and would rather go back to the barter system though I don't know what i'd barter since I'm lacking in most practical skill. So I guess I'd be a little thinner due to my lack of bartering imports. Anyways I'm reading and it starts to sink in that I'm a covetor of other things. I'm a family conveter--by this I mean. I always wish I had a different family, had siblings, had a different up-bringing... etc. I know I'm sure everyone does.. but I dream of such difference it sometimes distracts me from reality. So then God speaks as he always does through his amazing word and says what are you doing Astrid. Not only am I needlessly concerned about my financial affairs which are always provided for, but I am foolishlessly forgetting the most important and fulfilling possession I have. Hebrews 10:34 "You sympathized with those in prision and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves has better and lasting possessions." So if we are following God and his word...showing love, and remembering and putting ourselves in prisioner's (who are suffering for his sake) shoes then we...I must also remember that nothing on or of this world is worth more than the salvation I have. I know my salvation is a gift of grace, but I often forget it is all I need. My contentedness is not found in my collection of Charle brown knick knacks or thousands of photos or anything. Being content is everyday because I have Christ. I have Christ! I have Christ! I have Christ!!!!!! He is mine and I am His!!!!!!!! Rejoice with me brothers and sisters and also find your contentedness. WE have the most amazing possession of all. WE Have Him and He is FOREVER!!!!!!!!
