So lots has happened since I last blogged.
The dreaded V-Day turned out pretty well. I played tennis with Adam, hung out with our friends Ryan and Katie at their baby's 1st birthday.. so cute.. creepy elmo cake that made him look like he ate a smurf.. go fig huh. The sweetness was when Adam presented me with chocolate covered strawberries.. yay.. so they needed a little amy/martha stewart lovin but they were delish and the thought was super sexy. Needless to say I've fallen off the Biggest Loser Wagon in fitness and health as well.. dang the good chocolate circulating this love dovey fest season... grrr.. I plan on re-intiating my morning runs.. bad knees or not. Astrid means business now... Wait don't I say that every time.. ok so I do... but she means it know and apparently she is enjoying talking int the 3rd.. anywho heres where yall come in.. if at anytime you think Astrid may be falling off the fit wagon.. you can ask and i'll truthfully reply.. i've worked out or ran or whatever or if I didn't you can instantly ask me to 20 push ups or sit ups whatever... your choose. So here's a little info about work life.. it's ok.. I've been told that the boss wants me to consider taking on a new position of activities coordinator... basically the same job I did a few years ago... so i'd be doing my old job in a new place.. right now i'm not really considering it but i'll pray about it and see over these next few days... upside.. tiny increase in pay and diff hours.. like i get off at 4 instead of 4:30... which is kinda nice... Well peeps I gotta to go Awana and teach. I'll keep yall posted.
Please pray for the following: Elisabeth as she returns from her Astro camp trip,her kids Adam and his ministry, teaching the word tonight, O'roark and Leilani-- settling into married life, Miss Amy-- her poor little sicky self, co-workers- salvation, Mom-motivation to find work, CBC-- all the ministries, kids hearts tonight, Dad- his work, the craziness that is our family, my cuz Christine- praise-- job and in school, we're gonna hang out soon., Pete- going back to school, motivation and diligence, Heather-- work, her sister's cancer, so many.... just pray you know the needs of your firends, family....co-workers.. so pray for them
