Special Delivery

I just received a letter from my wonderful sweet muffin. This was no ordinary letter. It was hand written(I love hand written letter-- the old fashioned gal i am) and hand delivered. I know how sweet, right. The contents of the letter surpassed all the sugary goodness of even chocolate. His words were so rich in kindness and compassion concerning our relationship. I am very honored to have his support and love. God is so good to us to give us the ability to love one another. The author and creator of love gives us his son on the cross for us to fellowship with him once again and he gives us each other to embrace in koininia. Truly He is a God of love, grace and compassion. For the love he shows me through my dear friend and brother reminds me of how much I should love. My hearts all a flutter now... well more so than normal. Though I'm not certain of the plans has for either of our lives, I know he loves us both and if his word is truth-- and it is- then in Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. He is my joy. Joy every morning and he gives me joy. Still loving the illustration of Piper-- saying that God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in him. The overflow of our joy is and should be all to his glory. Adam's letter was an encouragement to the growth we have to look forward in each other. He wrote about preparation- and how even though we are together, we do not have a claim on each other's lives as of yet. But as we continue to grow in our walks, we must not lack in our preparation- God wants us to be the best for each other and I am thankful for Adam's desire of this in himself for us and also encouraged that I too will continue to prepare myself- I should and am striving to be a more Godly woman for the man my Lord has given me before the foundation of this world.
We are sinners but because of the cross we have been cleansed and shown as righteous before God. What more could we... I want.
