Oh what fun. Back home now and feeling rested and relaxed...much sleeping and lying around. I love camping. Friday was an adventure trying to find a site to set down for the next couple of days.. but we found a nice two story plot by the rocky though low Kern river. After putting up our tents. Thanks to the o'roarks for their tent though compared to armando's manshion tent we were all super snug. The guys had this little patio too. :-). Beautiful views near and around the site. Great koininia and food... First nite bacon wrapped hot dogs.. yum!!! Friday best camping breakfast-- eggs, bayCON and home fries.. and later swimming to work all that off.. Ok never went lake swimming and was a little hesistant..but I did it...slowly but surely. Amazed at Gabe's natural aquatic prowess. Got scared a few times thanks to Amy's tickling toes and her stories of what lie beneath.. grrr. no eels and giant fish.. ah Amy.
I'm pretty hooked on this whole getting away for a while.. and thinking can't wait till the next trip.. hmm September...there's been talk stay tuned.
PS-- when traveling tie down all boxes containing food lest someone slams on the break and muffins, bread and knives fall on you.. yikes.

Watching you squirm after Amy touched you was absolutely hilarious. Thank you for sharing your insight on Trusting God and Bridges. I love you Astrid.
