So thursday Amy asked me to come over and well she had a fabulous care package for marathon and race tips and food tips.. I tried to follow as best as I could. I'm not as sore as I expected.. anyways this blog is about fashion and my lack of it apparently as most everyone thinks so.. trust me if i was any more vain that i am well people would prolly throw rocks at me...
So Amy is trying on tons of jeans which i think are all the same pair of dark denim but she assures me that they are all diff --shorter, longer, diff pockets, make my butt look cuter..etc. diff
ok Astrid says So here's the background. Amy is going home to see her closest college friends who for some she hasn't seen in 10 years since graduation.. much has changed in that time.. and so has Amy... well she really hasn't wardrobe wise-- so she says-- so here we are trying to grow up our pretty amy's wardrobe with some sweet piece from leilani's stash-- side note-- amy 5'8' ish leilani 4'10' ish and yet leilani's sweaters are far longer than any of amy's.. just thought that was interesting. anyway.. we come up with several outfits..
1st outfit.. we're coming from sunny warm LA to cold chilly NE... well amy craves comfort while astrid wanted her to opt for glam hollywood while stepping off the plane. my idea got nixed as usual.. dang you leilani for not being there. anyways.. Amy goes with Cali casual - cute blue sweats and her sister's cook great sweater--- prolly a white top b/c according to amy you can never have enough-- white shirts, jeans or flip flops from that fancy place that escapes my mind-- where the sandals aren't even comfy..
2nd outfit- thinking amy was in comfy hang out mode-- prolly wore the cool cream sweater with the festive buttons white tee and dark denim jeans-- we call this outfit Seattle
3rd outfit- so now we're in NE cool and cas hangout day. astrid helps amy put together an outfit featuring leliani's cream sweater, green top and 2nd pair of dark denim-- we call this outfit Vermont
4th outfit -- thinking this is nice dinner meet and greet.. we've got form fitting brown blouse, long dark denim and great brown boots, and fab button down coat with greenish brown scarf..
this is the New York outfit.
I think there was one more outfit -prolly the return to cali outfit... but there you have it.. I will be available for critques anytime. please don't hesistate. I will tell you what looks good and what looks bad.. for your own good... b/c good friends are honest and well i'm working on my tact..

thanks for your help. I didn't end up wearing new york, but wore the black shirt you love with the flats. Im a sucker for comfort. And well I looked "exactly" the same as I did 10 years ago. Not much has changed. which probably means not much will change in the next 10 sorry Leilani, thanks for trying
i try my best.... i've come to be okay with not winning everytime. but, at least you wore one thing of what you took!!
ps... astrid, it's probably beeter you were there and not me. she would have ended up with sooooo much more luggage if i have helped her out....
